Awards in November 2020 – Chris Maggio, Ruth Milkman, and Luke Elliott-Negri

Chris Maggio received the Junior Scholar Award from the Stone Center on Socio-Economic Inequality

Professor Jayne Mooney won the 2020 Division on Critical Criminology and Social Justice Lifetime Achievement Award

Professor  Jayne Mooney won the 2020 Lifetime Achievement Award from the Division on Critical Criminology and Social Justice (DCCSJ), part of the American Society of Criminology. This award acknowledges and honors Prof. Mooney’s sustained and distinguished scholarship, teaching, and service in the field of critical criminology. Prof. Mooney received 15 letters of nomination, an usually large amount for what is the highest honor for the Division on Critical Criminology and Social Justice.

Prof. Mooney also published a new book titled The Theoretical Foundations of Criminology: Place, Time and Context (Routledge 2020) . The book was just reviewed in Theoretical Criminology
